George Brown 入學狀況👆
George Brown College of Applied Arts and Technology與多數學院相同，均是由政府出資於1967年成立，為加拿大安大略省政府所認證，也是台灣教育部承認的公立學院。GBC的整體規模都是全加拿大榜上有名的科技學院，其得天獨厚的地利更促使GBC成為一間引人注目的公立學院，同時是加拿大理工學院聯盟成員之一。
學校簡介
GBC與加拿大、美國、澳洲等國家的多間知名大學共同簽訂了學分轉移協議，一旦在George Brown完成特定課程並達到理想成績，便有機會轉入多所知名學府如約克大學(York University)、麥馬斯特大學(McMaster University)、卡加利大學(University of Calgary)、西雪梨大學(Western Sydney University)等。
GBC最為出名的其放眼加拿大也是首屈一指的烹飪教學設備及教室，GBC的藝術烹飪課系更有自己的一家餐廳─”The Chefs’ House”，此餐廳位於GBC的St. James Campus，其餐廳廚師均由烹飪課程的學生擔任。學生不僅能藉此機會練習廚藝，更有機會領取打工的營收。
George Brown多數的課程均有提供Co-op課程，即台灣常聽說的建教合作。同常學生在學習完四學期左右的課程後，便會需要自己去校外，或藉由學校管道尋找有薪或無薪的實習機會。且GBC更有與許多知名企業簽訂產學合作條約。
GBC有設立國際學生獎學金，以獎勵表現優異的國際學生。GBC每學期都提供七個名額的五千元加幣獎學金，和九個一千元加幣的獎學金。同樣於George Brown校內自設的語言學校也有提供六個名額的一千元加幣獎學金。

學校位置
George Brown College (GBC)位於加拿大最大城市、同時為其金融工業發展和文化交流傳承重心的安大略省的多倫多市核心地帶，同時也是大多倫多地區著名的四大公立學院之一 (George Brown、Seneca、Centennial和Humber College)，於四所學院之中更是地理位置便利性最佳的。
George Brown的四大校區均位於多倫多市區，分別為卡薩羅馬校區 (Casa Loma Campus)、聖詹姆斯校區 (St. James Campus)、多倫多都市大學校區 (Toronto Metropolitan University Campus)和水前校區 (Waterfront Campus)。
卡薩羅馬校區顧名思義，就是位於著名觀光景點卡薩羅馬城堡(Casa Loma)的附近 (Kendal Avenue/ Davenport Road附近)，且和最近的Dupont地鐵站也是走路不用幾分鐘便可到的距離。此校區為GBC的主校區之一(另一為聖詹姆斯校區)，在此校園所提供的課程也包含了工程技術、建築技術、時裝珠寶設計、保健科學、表演藝術課程等。
聖詹姆斯校區則是名副其實的多倫多市中心，其地點位於多倫多Downtown最熱鬧的King Street、Adelaide Street和Richmond Street，均為金融重鎮地點。其校區所提供之課程也與其坐落位置有很大的關係，包括了工商金融課程、烹飪餐飲管理課程、旅遊飯店管理課程和保設計類課程等。
懷雅遜大學校區則是GBC在多倫多都市大學 Toronto Metropolitan University 主校園內設立的一個分部， GBC更有與懷雅遜大學合作提供課程供學生選修。懷雅遜大學的地理位置同樣不遜於GBC，甚至有過之而無不及。其地點同樣位於經融中心地帶，附近甚至有各式博物館、美術藝文館、大型購物商場、電影院等等。在此校區提供的課程包含幼兒教育和護理課程等。
水前校區同樣位於多倫多Downtown市中心，此校區主要提供課程為護理課程、牙齒護理課程、和保健服務管理課程等。
學生組成
根據最新2017年的統計，George Brown College有來自世界各地餘四千九百多名國際學生，其比例小於總學生數的百分之二。目前在GBC就讀的全日制學生有兩萬九千多人，非全日制的則有六萬多名學生。雇主聘用本校生的滿意度高達92%。
GBC絕大多數的學生均為加拿大人，且百分之九十四的學生都是安大略本省人，其於少數比例來自其他各省、美國、和外國學生。整體而言，根據其學生構成以及地理位置，是十分適合希望能和加拿大本地人多作互動的留學生。
學校課程
George Brown College提共超過160種課程，其種類含括Bachelor’s Degree(學士課程)、Diploma(文憑課程)、Advanced Diploma(進階文憑課程)、Certificate(證照課程)、Graduate Certificate(研究所證書課程)、Continuing education certificates/designations (進修證書/認證課程)。
GBC提供語言條件式入學(Conditional admission)，意即學生若是達到一般成績要求，即便語言能力未能達標，能仍在進入George Brown的EAP Program完成指定課程並得到標準分數後進入申請科系就讀，或者藉由學習和其他與GBC合作語言學校的銜接課程(Pathway Program)，同樣可以進入GBC就讀。
