住宿方式

素里學區不提供寄宿家庭住宿,但Hello Study會將客戶轉介給寄宿家庭服務提供者以尋求協助。學區致力確保寄宿安排符合不列顛哥倫比亞省人權法規定,如果國際學生提出的要求或偏好違反法規,將會被寄宿服務提供者拒絕。學區認識到國際學生來加拿大是為了提升英語能力,因此在所有寄宿家庭中,英語必須是主要使用的語言。

ACADEMICS: A highly academic school that has a history
of outstanding performance in all aspects of high school
curricula. FH offers senior students a two-year Science
Academy which allows students to earn first-year Chemistry or
Computer Science credits at Simon Fraser University. FH also
has Advanced Placement (AP) courses in Calculus, Physics,
Psychology and Economics.
ELECTIVES: FH offers several Business courses, Computer
Technology, Trades and Technical education, Robotics,
pre-Engineering, Media Studies, Art, Music and Athletics.
HIGHLIGHTS: FH traditionally has over 50 student clubs and
is one of only two schools to offer Japanese and an after-school
Mandarin program. Graduates from FH successfully gain
admission to top post-secondary institutions in Canada and the
United States.

 

North Surrey (NS)

a comprehensive Science and Mathematics program. With
a cutting-edge learning commons library and dedicated lab
spaces, NS offers the best in technology including Robotics,
Animation, Digital Media, Computer Programming and Video
Production.
ELECTIVES: NS also prides itself on its award-winning Culinary
Arts, Dance, Choreography, and Choir programs. The NS
marching band has performed and competed all over the world.
HIGHLIGHTS: This school is focused on student engagement,
and friendly staff are actively involved in providing
environments that support personalized learning.

 

Johnston Heights (JH)

ACADEMICS: Located in Surrey’s main city centre, JH enables
students to excel in a full range of academic courses including
Advanced Placement (AP) Calculus and Computer Science, as
well as in many Arts, Applied Skills and other elective courses.
SPECIAL PROGRAMS: As JH hosts the International
Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Program for all students in
grades 8 to 10, JH is an official World School and the only one
of its kind in Surrey.
HIGHLIGHTS: A bright and modern school, JH boasts a first
class Music program featuring Concert Band, Jazz Band and
a world-renowned choir. JH also has an outstanding student
leadership program.

 

Fleetwood Park (FP)

ACADEMICS: FP is one of Surrey’s most popular school choices
for students. This school has a very strong academic program
with a variety of senior courses in Science, Mathematics,
English and Social Studies. FP offers Advanced Placement (AP)
courses in Calculus and Chemistry.
ELECTIVES: FP is also very proud of its Visual and Performing
Arts Departments. Additionally, the school has an excellent
Culinary Arts Training program and is one of the only schools
to offer elective choices such as Engineering and Design,
several types of Dance and Choreography classes and Student
Leadership.
HIGHLIGHTS: In addition to a highly successful Athletics
program, FP offers a wide variety of extracurricular clubs and
opportunities for students. FP is an inclusive, caring and
welcoming community of students and staff.

 

Enver Creek (EC)

Advanced Placement (AP) classes in English, Chemistry, Math,

ELECTIVES: EC is well known for its successful Culinary Arts,

Engineering and Electronics, EC is one of the only schools
in Canada to be invited to participate in the World Robotics
Championship.
HIGHLIGHTS: EC has a strong Athletics program, and is one
of the only schools in Surrey with both Field and Ice Hockey

Clayton Heights (CH)

neighbourhood, CH offers a friendly, cooperative atmosphere,

throughout the facility and home to one of Surrey’s signature
‘Science Super-Labs’, this school is a popular choice for
students.
SPECIAL PROGRAMS: Advanced Placement (AP) courses in
Calculus, and Television and Video Production with a variety of
multimedia curricular programs.
HIGHLIGHTS: The leadership program is strong at CH, with
over 250 students regularly involved in school and community
leadership activities.

 

Salish (SA)

Clayton Heights. The school is designed to complement the
newest innovations in curriculum and teaching, and offers
a comprehensive range of academics including Advanced

ELECTIVES: Fine Arts programs such as Musical Theatre and
Dance are popular. Two gymnasiums and a fitness room allow
students to participate in a wide range of sports and
extra-curricular activities.
HIGHLIGHTS: SA is one of the largest schools in the district.
It has ‘state of the art’ TED studios, Technical Education shops,
Dance and Art studios, Music rooms and Theatre.

 

Lord Tweedsmuir (LT)

LT provides unique programs such as Electronics, Computer
Programming, Animation, Auto Technology, Dance, Culinary Arts

such as Football, Rugby, Soccer, Swimming, Cheerleading

Panorama Ridge (PR)

Elgin Park (EP)

specialty elective courses include Culinary Arts, Computer

Earl Marriott (EM)
